Manheim Australia, a leading industrial equipment auctioneer, has been entrusted with the sale of a substantial fleet of trucks and trailers formerly owned by Gold Tiger Logistics Solutions.
This development follows the logistics company's closure in late February, presenting a significant opportunity for businesses seeking to expand or upgrade their fleets.

The auction encompasses approximately 230 assets, including prime movers, rigid trucks, and a variety of trailers such as B-doubles and B-triples. Notable brands featured in the sale include Volvo, Isuzu, Vawdrey, and Barker. Additionally, workshop and ancillary equipment will be available, offering a comprehensive selection for potential buyers.

Assets are located across Manheim's facilities in Melbourne (Altona North), Brisbane (Eagle Farm), and Newcastle, with items subject to an expression of interest campaign. This strategic distribution allows interested parties from various regions to participate in the auction process.

For small to medium business owners and self-employed individuals in the trucking industry, this auction presents a unique opportunity to acquire high-quality equipment at potentially favorable prices. Engaging in such auctions can be a cost-effective strategy to enhance operational capacity without the financial burden of purchasing new vehicles.

However, it's essential for prospective buyers to conduct thorough due diligence. Assessing the condition of the equipment, understanding the terms of the auction, and evaluating financing options are critical steps to ensure a sound investment. Consulting with financial advisors or loan brokers can provide valuable insights into financing solutions tailored to individual business needs.

Participating in auctions like this can also offer advantages in terms of immediate availability of equipment, which is particularly beneficial for businesses requiring quick expansion or replacement of assets to meet operational demands.
